Just thought i'd advise on the beer prices in Borovets for you flying out soon, these are the ines i can remember:2.5lev in Villa Park Apartments
3 lev in the Harp Bar
4 lev in Mama Mias
4 lev in Francos
6 lev in Playboy Bar

Are these prices for half litre glasses? What are the Harp Bar and Villa Park like and is the latter open to non residents? We are OAP's and need to watch the pennies!

Cheaper again if you buy from the supermarket!There was one guy on the main street near white Magic shouting that beer was 2.5 lev in that pub "Asda prices" he was shouting (as if he knew!)

Sorry sounds nice but to much, I think the cheapest beer in Borovez will be in the small Bistros down the street near the post 1,50 lev or as an adicted user in some restaurants just 2 lev. I thought in Samokov in my favorite hotel I have to pay 1,60 lev, some one are cheaper, okay...Sune

found all prices in samokov way cheaper last year, got to go to bonitas mmmmmm the kids loved it.

Have to agree with heapster,Whenever we arrive at Borovets we cannot drive through Samokov without going to Bonitas first, as he says the kids love it!!! Yes the beers in Samokov are cheaper as are the restaurants with better quality too.
I amazed more people on holiday in Boro don't get the bus down to Samokov- taxi back about 20 lev normally.
Kas knows a good few restaurants to try. The old House , Target, Cinema, Kokushkova Kushta, Bonitas....

Agree with Tateyhead.Bus goes from in front of the Samakov hotel on the hour and half-hour. 2Levs. Taxi back 15-20Levs.
I can recommend K-Bar in Samakov which is not far from the bus station. British owned and the best Cheese and Onion toasties in BG.
Best Loos in BG? - Just got to be Harp Bar. Just love the pneumatic loo seats!
