Are you kidding, 1.80 levs, what do you expect for less than a £1? Probably a "small beer" in a plastic cup? It's strange how the Bulgarians are trying to make the goods cheaper and cheaper till they ruine the quality
A beer in the season costs between 3 and 5 levs, all below that price is not recomended, suspicious origin and so on.

Cheap beer in the Alpina also excellent wine at a very reasonable price.Richard.

Actually Sad no. I was in the Alpina bar last year most nights and paid the prices TT quoted for a pint of genuine Kamenitza in a big boys grown up glass.Pete

The Alpina do cheap beer during their happy hour at 1 lev and yes, it is about 1.80 at other times, BUT not sure what prices will be this year. But still regardless of a small increase, they will be the cheapest. Last year in one of the other bars i paid 13 Lev for one large and one small beer and trust me her exact words were "as you are our first customers i will give you a discount" so i can't imagine what she was going to charge me if i was the second customer !!! 13 LEV !!! Zagorka ...

Zagorka or Kamenitsa down here in the town is average 2.40 per bottle. Try Ariana cheaper than the other two bulgarian beers and for me, much nicer.
