Best Hotel in Pamps??

Hi

I'm looking to take my wife to Pamps (after reading all the recommendations on the board) and was wondering which is a nice place to stay on a fairly tight budget. I don't want my wife's main memory of her first ski holiday to be how badly we were stung for a naff hotel.

Suggestions and comments welcome.

Thanks,

Danny.

1 Murgavets 2 Hotel Pamporovo 3 Perelik

My choice would be the Murgavets slap bang in middle of resort recenr refurb nice and clean comfortable rooms. Also has a very nice spa. re: Best Hotel in Pamps??

Hi Daniel

Cheers for the quick reply. Just looked up the hotel and it looks to be good , both in price and in standard. Couple more questions for you, if you don't mind. Which is the nearest airport, and do you know if the hotel will lay on transport to/from it?

Thanks,

Danny.

re: Best Hotel in Pamps??

Assuming you book via a tour operator you will get transport included - if you book direct, go to the transfers link on the resort page for prices.

Plovdiv is closest, but a very very basic airport.

Hi

Plovdiv is about 1 hour and half transfer. Sofia is about a 4 hour transfer. Can only agree with others - Murgavets is the best hotel. Nice Hotel and in center of resort. Pamporovo Hotel is nice (more stars) but its outside of the main resort center.

Cheers Garry

Tried to get Murgavets but fully booked for period in Feb we want. Got space in the Finlandia. Any good? Looks nice and actually works out a little cheaper than Murgavets.

Finlandia I belive is also a good Hotel you should be fine with that. Have you checked all tour operators?

re: Best Hotel in Pamps??

Checked a shed load of operators. All working out more expensive than booking all the bits and bobs myself. Using my BA airmiles for one of the flights has saved us £250. Ended up paying £633 for 2 ppl, 4* accom in the Finlandia, BA flights, airport transfer in Bulgaria included (from sofia). Can't be bad! Maria Gogova, the Profi Tours area manager proved very helpful. (Tel + 359 (0) 888 515126)

Looking forward to a good holiday. What could possibly go wrong now!!??

re: Best Hotel in Pamps??

I am sure you will have a great time mate, the transfer is a bit of a drag from Sofia though Sad

go for it!

As a representative who has worked in Pamporovo I would personally recommend hotel Snejanka.

That is the best one that will provide you with.
cosy rooms
good meals
nice sports centre
lovely swimming pool
good location
friendly staff etc.

i am suprised that no one mentioned it. tight budget will do as well Wink
read the brochures it is a good one
