Best memory of Bulgarian Skiing

Hi, I thought I would start a post that would allow people to reminice past skiing holidays, whilst giving us newbies an idea of what happens on the slopes. So, what is your best memory of a skiing hol in Bulgaria?

Nearly every minute of every day on the Skidvd Bansko 2006 trip.

I still laugh at some of the antics now.

Funniest thing I saw was in Pamps when a girl skied into a fir tree and was left hanging upside down by her boots.just as that happened another member of our group went off the edge of the piste and ended up in a pile of deep powder next to a tree

The ski instructor was incapable of helping either of them due to fits of laughter.

Mine would have to be taking my recently widowed and rapidly aproaching 65 and now sadly departed Father to Pamporovo with a couple of mates of mine.
Seeing him being able to ski was priceless. Him staying up drinking to the small hours in Bjs for a man who could make falling asleep in front of the tv an olympic sport and declaring his first ever shot of tequila a "none drink!" amazing. To top it all he out drunk all of us and was bright and breazy the next morning whilst we struggled with ...

Too many to count every memory is a good one. I'm sure my mates would say last year when I wiped out at the half pipe. Nose of my board caught the snow fence and flipped my 360 landing in a heep covered in snow very amusing. NOT!! Repeat performances Jan and March 07!!

strangely enough i always like the thrill as you get nearer and nearer pamps, especially when arriving at night. gradually seeing more and more snow, hopefully a little falling out of the sky........and then the next morning seeing at all in its glory in daylight (the snow of course...)
