Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I am sat in Rila hotel now, just waiting for my transfer back to UK. I made the mistake of booking onto the tradtional Bulgarian night with my instructor. After having attended the welcome meeting, I thought this sounded like a really great evening. My ski instructor sold me what I thought was a similar event for 2 pounds less. It turned out to be a disaster. We were taken to a tiny cramped room, where we almost had to sit on eachother (and there were only 10 of us). We were given one glass of disgusting wine, and provided with a few old pieces of dried cabbage. There was no 4 course meal, no unlimited wine, and certainly no floor show. when we spoke to our neighbours in the hotel, who had been on the rep's trip, they said they had had a fantastic evening. We completely wasted 10 pounds each, and had a very disappointing evening, just bcause we tried to save 2 pounds each. At least if you book with a rep, the quality of the evening is guaranteed.
