LOL Robert!!!

The 'Hut' is just that, no electricity or mains water, but is still heaven on a sunny skiing afternoon......
( got to mention the loo, def hole in the ground, but in a cubicle, best view in the world!)

Best soup ever!

You have to traverse off piste from Marky 3 over the avalanche bowl, AMAZING!!!

Then back down Musalla path, home!!!!!

The climb from the hut to Mussala Peak is NO near2hours as listed above.
Please do not post misleading info.
The climb is a dangerous route and should not be attended without special climbing gear, comms special guide etc.
2hours is maybe to reach the Ice Lake hut above the Mussala Hut and only if conditions are perfect and path is passable.
from the Ice lake to the peak the winter route is easy peasy trek.
And forget skiing down from eighter the Ice hut or the Peak itself because ...

And forget skiing down from eighter the Ice hut or the Peak itself because there are massive granit stones which won't be covered.
Basically nice dream but unless you are well prepared you should not try.
Sorry.

re: Big sigh of relief..........

Robert, thanks for link will be looking at that in July. As for the Mussala hut, never done it, but if Marky 3 is open week coming will be heading over that way. Started going over there about 4 years ago but got distracted by the off piste, superb.

Mr M

What are on about???????? Or is the link? Thats nothing to do with this site and was a tongue in cheek blog.

You can ski to the Musalla hut if Marky 3 is open, who mentioned wanting to walk to the Peak?

Personaly its something I dream of doing and will do it one day, but not on a skiing holiday!!!!!
