re: Bit quieter today...

Guess what Lord Lewis of Marston...the Failsworth 34 are flying out the same weekend as us (although we fly on the 22nd) from Gatwick and we are also staying at the Strazhite. Good thing that is because that will allow you to get my daily snow conditions update straight from the horses mouth, as they say.

Unfortunately, we are only Mr and Mrs Hornster, but if I was going out with a group we would be called the Storm Chasers!! Very Happy

Hornster, I will probably see you at Gatwick, what should I look out for .....I am 5' 8" and will be wearing a grey O'Neill ski jacket (and the large nose that I always wear)

Hey Lord Lewis, if this is your first time in Bansko, you will love it, different from Pamp (not as lively) but great all the same (and far better slopes). Also, unfortunately, as the beer is 1 lev in Mehanas and 2 in the hotel, it is impossible to spend much money

The Strazhite is only a spit from the slopes so no need for hanging around for ski buses for you two !!
Very Happy Booze

re: Bit quieter today...

I'm afraid there is a distinct shortage of bell sellers but there are plenty of locals who may be interested in carrying your skis. Just don't ask the mean looking mutha' with the sunglasses and black Mercedes/leather jacket (if you know what I mean) Cool
