Hello all,
Just got back from Borovets and had an absolute ball

The Black Tiger is the Karaoke Bar outside the Rila, and am pleased to say I hav had some of the best (YES BEST) nights of my life in there……… BUT
For some reason the new management have changed the layout/format of the place.
They have removed the pole from the dance floor, sorry totally removed the dance floor too and replaced both with tables and chairs and seem to be concentrating on selling food! This has totally killed the place and the place now has zero atmosphere!!!
De Management if you are listening, PLEASE,PLEASE PLEASE change the bar back to the previous working formula. There are already enough restaurants in the resort!
Everyone we spoke to felt the same and was disappointed with the new layout/theme of the bar!
PS the new DJ isn’t a patch on DJ Shark and sounds like a radio 4 presenter!

hi Ian,
We went night skiing for the first time with the rest of our group which was awesome and prob the highlight of our holiday.
White Magic, (drinking shots from Christo's olympic ski-- what a legend!) BJ's and Marmacita's were good this year (didnt go in the snow shack)
We met up with Bobby and Kas and also made a journey up to the White House and enjoyed a great bit o grub at resort (not mountain) prices deffo worth a visit
The conditions werent perfect but didnt stop us from skiing.... I do hope that snow falls soon from both the tourists and the great people of Borovets !
All in all had a great time, but as this was our 5th time on the trot in borovets we will prob try somewhere else next year!
