By the the way you can thank the boarder's for the carver ski's you are all wearing where do you think the shape come from!!!!! also for nudger found blades played up with my knees (I ski and board before anyone says anything) more like ice skates on a steep hill, maybe because i wanted to go fast. As for football Levski for champions!!!!

I love my blades - me and my wife both bought a pair and took them with us this season (19-26th) used them loads. Love em, recommend them to anyone. We are both intermediate skiers and find them loads of fun!re: Blades

Blades emmm for people who find skiing too difficult, never seen a person on blades in control, just my opinion, and why dont they ever use there ski poles , ill keep me skis, thankyoure: Blades
If you need poles to keep yourself up then perhaps blades aren't for you.
Like with skiing, some people are good on blades and some aren't.
If you look at "freestyle snow blading" on youtube there are loads of videos of some pretty impressive blading.
Six of my friends changed to blading 5 or 6 years ago and haven't looked back since.
My son tried it 2 years ago and, as you might expect from a then 14 year old, he was very successful.
I just think it's worth a try. You might like it. ...

I turned to blades about 3 years ago and have never had a set of skis on since, I love them.The wife has just got me a new set for christmas too so role on Feb in Boro....

Do you know any good shops or online outlets to buy Blades from?
I usually hire skis at the resort, for family of five. The prospect of transporting up to five sets of our own skis does not appeal to me, seen as I tend to be the main carrier.
However Blades may be a different story. I wouldn't mind owning 2 or 3 pairs and just hiring the others at resort.
My friend claims that he bought good Salomon and Big Easy Head Blades last year for just over £100 each pair.

hi nudger bas here got a pair of big easy blades , for, saleim in brighton , dont know how far away u r but would let them go for £100 , as they dont make them any more
and would like them go to a good home , ring me on 07813 388131 ,ive now got 120cm freestylers and am quiet happy 2 keep my blades but would like 2 c someone make use of them !!!

Boing Boing.... Are you an Albion fan Nudger ??We went to the snowdome yesterday for something to do and had a go on blades there, they were fab for me cause i've got a dodgy knee...
Anyway does anyone know if they sell blades at Boro with the release bindings, we were there 2 years ago but could only find the ones that clamp onto the boots and not release like normal ski's....
If so where and roughly how much. reckon i might invest in some + keep BG economy going.

As you all know Birmingham City supporters are the best skiers.
I've never been skiing in the Snowdome, but was thinking of popping over to Tamworth this week to take a look at the Ski Waterhouse that advertises on BRMB.
Regarding the dodgy knees. That was one of my reservations regarding Blades, I thought they felt a bit more demanding on the knee joints than normal skis.
