Do any of you guys use snow blades?
I was thinking of buying a pair after hiring some for a couple of days at the end of a skiing holiday a few years back.
My friends have used them for a number of years but they are fantastic skiers and I'm not sure I'll reach their standard.
Previously I found them to be hard work on the knees, or is it just my dodgy joints?

I would like to know what the rest of you think about blades.
I have used blades for the last 2 years i am only an intermediate skier, i find blades much much easier and really good fun. Everyone seems to call them lazy ski's. I am going to ski for a couple of days this time but dont think it'll be long before im back on them. My sister on the other hand takes her skiing a lot more seriously than me and reckons they were ruining here technique.
I think you saw through the thread. Nothing to do with Blades really I just wanted to wind you up.
Really impressed with Cardiff this season. Saw them at West Brom in December. Even the West Brom fans were saying how good Cardiff were.
Good luck to them.
Kelly, Blades are like very short ski's - great fun and turns are a doddle but you don't get the same speed and it does make you a bit complacent, you don't have to work the ski's to turn.
