Bloody beginners!!!!

Hi, thanks to all of you who replied with the information on the questions that I asked earlier, which has helped me a great deal and thank god its only a week to wait!.
There is one thing that I forgot to ask, my husband wears glasses, is it best for him to wear goggles over glasses or perscription glasses or just ski blind!! - watch out everybody if you are having lessons (holiday starts 6th march)!
Are you able to purchase items of clothing as I have not yet found any ...

HiIve just back from borovets and they are loads off shops that seel glasses and goggles. The goggles were about 60 leva (£20). I didnt look at Gloves but there are loads of places.

1. Age old question regarding eyewear. Goggles are better in snowy conditions, but I prefer sunglasses generally. Both available to buy in resort as are gloves. 100's to choose from and much cheaper than in UK.
Evening wear is usually casual much as summer really, (trainers, jeans, etc.) depending on where you are staying and whether you need to venture outside to get to the action.
Pack a warm coat just in case you need to go outside.

Hi,I also wear glasses but prefer to ski blind - wear normal sunglasses,
this way you wont see how steep the run is, and you wont care!

I wear my own glasses when skiing. However that would not be comfortable if you tend to fall, or if it snows. So it depends really. Sometimes I put goggles on top, but then my glasses can get misty. No easy answer, get both just in case and find out.re: Bloody beginners!!!!

A women in our ski group( this year, pamps) had special googles, specifically for going over glasses. Dont know where she got them from though, anyboby else know? No probs getting gloves and thing there.
As to clothes etc, just take what you normally wear, but take a warm jacket, as evenings can be cold. a good pair of boots or trainers is good for footware.

Hi Glen and AngieWe came back from Pamps on 14th Feb, I just wore my prescription sunglasses. We had two days where the rest of the group had to wear goggles but I coped with just the sunglasses.
