Wonder what Boons care consists of !!!
Take care Rigs x
Yep - no worries, just send a last minute email and it can be sorted.
I would say the care consists of hot choc and brandy, orang light and anything else that remotely smells or tastes awful....!! Although I personally think a Bobby Bar Special Shock may kill or cure...!
My care would be amazing!!!! With contributions from other members of my group.....4 Firemen LOL. You would definitely not feel anything one way or another...
I think that the Bobbys Bar Special Shock could work..I will test it for you....
Blimey Rigs, sounds like you're going through a rough spell at the moment. I hope it all works out well for you & your daughter soon.
To inspire you on let me tell you what I experienced in 2008, at 47 years old (I bet nobody guessed I was that old?).
On 30th December 2008, whilst on a skiing holiday in France I choked twice on the same day on food, so upon returning home I went to the Doctors & was duly referred to the Hospital. It all eascalated from there:

On 30th December 2008, whilst on a skiing holiday in France I choked twice on the same day on food, so upon returning home I went to the Doctors & was duly referred to the Hospital. It all eascalated from there:
1. In January & February I had a number of tests & an endoscopy. It was suspected that I had an early stage of throat cancer & whilst udergoing exploratory treatment something else happened.
2. I was awoken one night by a massive pain in the abdomen. The doctor came out & I was rushed into Hospital. I had Kidney stones (& I can tell you that they are painful to say the least). For around 8 weeks I suffered Kidney stone agony attacks at about one a week & every time had to go into Hospital. During this period something else happened.
3. I started getting outrageous dizziness spells. It was a thing called Labyrinthitis. Horrendous. Totally disabling at times. It's not pleasant behaving like you're drunk when you haven't even touched a drop but that is how other people sometimes perceived my behaviour.
4. For a couple of months I was regularly visiting the hospital. One day I had three appointments all for different things. But then one week a magical thing happened.
5. I had the operation to remove the Kidney Stones. Instant success. Problem solved. The same week I had another endoscopy for the throat cancer & was given the all clear. What a great week that was. However, I still had Labyrinthitis. Then something else, much bigger, happened.
6. On 2nd July, still in 2008, out of the blue I suffered a stroke. (full stroke, not a TIA mini stroke). I spent a few days in Hospital & then weeks rehabilitating. I made a good recovery but still have regular medical reviews & have spent many days wired up to a mobile ecg device. I was devastated to miss skiing in the winter of 2008-2009.
But here I am now. Fit as a fiddle (not). Skiing has taken on a higher priority. I go as often as I can. It is the best therapy & exercise possible.
In other words, good luck sorting out your health, get fit ASAP & then get yourself back skiing as often as you can is what I say.
PS. I am now considered a high risk insurance liability for foreign travel. I get cover at a premium cost. I ask myself if anything goes wrong while I'm on holiday would I want to rely on a Bulgarian Hospital for treatment. Dunno. (Sorry if I'm doing them a disservice). Perhaps somebody can clarify the state of the Bulgarian Health system.
