Boots wont fit,help

Had my boots for four years now and found them really
comfortable, but when I tried them on today one foot is
very tight even when lightly fastened. If my feet have changed like this do you think the boots can be altered or is it new boots for me?

You may be able to take them in and have them sorted if you go to a reputable ski shop

Like dbut said...take them in to a shop to have them checked.

Just a couple of points: you may be able to get different insoles that are slightly thinner, this will help create a tiny bit more space around the foot area. Also, the shop may be able to use their heat molding facility to mold your boot a little better if your feet have swelled a little.

Cheers for the advice, will take them to the shop tomorrow.
If they can't be fixed at least I get to play in nice new boots!

re: Boots wont fit,help

It could be a result of putting the boots on in cold conditions. Until this year I was able to put my boots on easily and they were very comfortable - I had always put them on in the warm appartment. This year we drove to Boro and put the boots on in the car park and we all struggled to get our feet in our boots.

It may therefore not be appropriate to have your boots altered.

I recommmend getting an anglegrinder and cutting the toes off the front of each boot....This will ensure your feet have plenty of room to grow!!!

I recommend wearing two pairs of waterproof socks from then on, as your toes may get colder, quicker!!
