Boro - Interesting places in free time ???

Hi - do you suggest any places that we should visit nearby Boro in the afternoons ? Maybe cultural places or some nice villages maybe ??? Is it worthwile renting a car or is there any local transport ? Thanks for the help - By the way finally managed to confirm Flora hotel - hope it will be ok !
