Boro 9th January

Hi All,

Nothing really to report except slightly less snow and icier...
In terms of lifts / pistes etc, then look at yeserday's update as it is identical to that today.
To those arriving today / tomorrow, have no positives to give you, except everyone is still smiling and we'll try our best to help / give any advice we can.

That's the one thing that Boro hasn't run out of....yet!!

Thanks Kas, The snow forecast predicts snow most of the next week at top in Borovets...unfortunately the 1cm average per day is not really going to help us! At least it will prove to my pal that it does actually snow there. Hope everyone can get to their airports, bon voyage and see you all there!

Hi ya,

It says 10degrees on the Rila temp gauge, but although people usually go by this, it is normally about 4dgrees out - ie: closer to 6degrees... Snow cannons are not working, either on the Rila or on Yastrebets. In terms of whether snow will come of not, like you guys i can look at websites and watch the local weather on the TV, but no idea if it will snow or not!!

Sorry jean the latest update changed from 16 cm of Snow on Friday to 2 cm's

Now going to make things worse, but whereas this morning it was very icy, now everything is just melting away. They need a week of constant snow to sort this out, but even a day would at least help...... My other half did actually stand on our balcony at about 6.30pm last night, totally naked and shouted out (in Bulgarian) please god let it snow... it obviously didn't work, but the thought was there!!!! If you're coming to Titanic tomoz night then he deserves a thanks for trying....!!
