re: Boro Green run

Just got back from Borovets. Unless it has snowed since this morning, all the runs are very very icey in places. They keep taking the machines out to put snow down on the runs but by late morning/early afternoon they are quite tricky for beginners.

re: Boro Green run

I went down it last year and I'm a crap beginner. Made it all the way down in one piece and didn't fall over. You do have to cross a black run close to where it starts. It gets a bit flat near the bottem so you have to get some speed up or walk. Roll on March 16th.. Razz will there still be any snow Question

re: Boro Green run

i boarded down it at the end of every day last march...it was a bit rocky in parts and loads of snowploughers were finding it tough..but there are some little routes through the woods that can keep you going if it gets busy..there was only one part of the run that was totally lacking in any snow..this was close to the bottom on open woodland..so probably was exposed to the sun for most of the day..its certainly a better way down than going in the gongola.

re: Boro Green run

Hi Jezza
Have just got back. I skied the run on Friday and it was OK, not good for beginners as it is quite narrow and icy in some places. Boaders don't like it much as it has 2/3 flat patches where they have to walk. Very pretty through the forest, I would prpbably describe it as slightly harder than a green!!

Have fun
