re: Boro exchange rate

So in resort, do you just withdraw from a cashmachine, or do you get a better rate if you take a wad of £20 notes to change in the bank?

Normally I get currency in England, then just visit a cashmachine when out there if getting low. Tempted to get it all out there this time though if it means more beer tokens Booze

re: Boro exchange rate

LOL Thanks Steve. That'd add up to more, as it was a ski package. We wouldn't normally bother with the tuition tbh. Smile And you're welcome. Hope you have a good time. Smile

Stu use crown. They're reputable. I exchanged notes last week and they gave me a receipt and they gave me exactly what the exchange rate said it would. Smile

Cheers Skatergirl, you think the Crown booths are better than the bank next to Rila?

re: Boro exchange rate

Well I asked the reps and also on trip Advisor and was told that although some banks advertise a better rate, in reality they fiddle the figures lol. I was told that Crown are reputable and it is best to use them. Although I am fairly sure I was told the bank was ok too. You could always ask at the bank I guess and say how much will I get for so much.
I only changed £20 lol so I wasn't too bothered about a few extra pence by taking time to ask at the bank, but if you were changing more it ...
