Just heard that it's following the stupidity that happened in Bansko last season.... 40 days ! but will it be the incredible 800LV ? adding up to 2400LV for the complete season
We also have been told that an instructor pass will be 6000LV We know that Tseko Minev has an interest in Boro, mostly financial, perhaps this is the slippery slope ? unfortunately not the ones we like
hi
Being new to this (despite my post count which is wrong and must be a system blip!) I do not understand, would you kindly explain for me please? do you mean, 40 days, which a person can use here and there or do you have to use it on 40 consecutive days?
We have about eight weeks of ski ing booked between now and March, but will fly back to the UK in between, plus,I suppose, it is not even possible to ski each day?
thank you for any advice.
As is with most things here... the info i was given was wrong if compared to Borosports pricelist That said, things could change.... at the moment as advertised Borosport are charging 1500LV for the season skiing in Borovets... the situation here in Bansko is that Ulen are charging 800LV for 40 days within a ski season, these do not need to be consecutive days, just 40 days within the 120 day normal season..
Interested where you have seen the boro pass for 1500lev, borosports site has 1000 lev for 2014/2015 so no change from last year. So hope I'm correct on this one.
My mistake Pabs... you are correct, 1000lv...... and another mistake is the Bansko pricing, 20 days is 800lv, 40 days is 1500lv (and this was last season), this would add up to 4500lv for a whole season This supposedly is to stop lift-pass fraud ? which is really strange as the pass has a photo ?, this pic is displayed on a screen when ever the pass is used ? Im thinking much more the greed of the operator, which could bite them, as the take up on season passes last season was well down ...

The only light this season could be the day pass, hopefully it will not rise in price
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your update. As you say a crazy price for the whole season in Bansko. Always like you posts, always based on what really goes on in Bulgaria with a positive spin on what could benefit the resort as a whole.
Talking about ski passes... haven't been since 2010 and back then you had to get your card out and out it into the machine every time for a lift... have they changed the system to be contactless like Bansko?
