HelloIs it still snowing?
We are heading out to Borovets on 30th Jan.
We were going to pre-book the ski lessons, ski pass and ski hire (Big Ski Package) but looking at the sate of the snow we may leave it until we arrive.
Is this a good idea?
Come on snow. all the weather forecasts say no more snow this week.

I agree these up dates are much better than the weather forecasts and web cams.
You get the true picture and not all this bull shit on the forecasts.

It's extremely cold tonight! Just about to grab a beer. Snow cannons are on and the rila runs are all shaping signs of potential use tomorrow!! Loads of snow at the moment, can't promise it's going to stay but it's pretty chilly to say the least. I'll keep all info coming asap!!MattSki

heya guys, i got back yesterday and there was no snow what so ever, the temperature ranged from 5 to 13 degrees over the week and the only slope that was open was a black run, every boarder and skier was attempting to use the nursery slope as some artificial snow had been put on it, but as there were so many people, there were lots of accidents and just no where to pracitce resulting on having lessons on pure ice! Lessons were cancelled left right and centre. All but one rope pull inc chair ...

Really hope it does change for any ppl going, it was very disappointing! They can't put teh artifical snow on unless the temp is below 4 degrees, so pray for cold weather!!!!!

Another good day on yastrebets. Rila cannons have been working full out again. Witha bit of luck they might open as well tomorrow!It's all good.
