Borovets! 19th Jan!

Hi Everyone!

Were off to Borovets on Saturday and im so nervous! Ive never skied before, ive had a few lessons but im not that good and can hardly turn! Does anyone know how much i should be wearing out there at the moment, i was just going to wear a few tshirts and then my ski jacket??
Also, are their any bars that play live music acts?? Thanks, and sorry to rate!

Emma you'll have an amazing time - there's a few bars with the odd cheesy live bands. Don't know about how many layers but you'll figure it out on the first day.
Me and a mate will be arriving on the 19th for my third year in Borovets - I can't wait !!!

HI Emma also going out to borovets on the 19th from gatwick at 3pm I went last year but its my husbands first time! Last year it was very warm in March we only had to wear a t shirt underneath but I think it is a lot colder at the moment so i would take a set of thermals with you if you are to hot the first day you know not to wear them the next so pot luck. I think the black cat had live music acts?! where are you staying I stayed at the Rila studios last year which was ok we are staying at ...

The Flora is is good hotel, cheap and cheerful. You dead center of everything there. Stayed there a couple of years ago. As for your clothing, how long is a piece of string. If your standing about in a group then you may get cold. In all my years the only time you will get cold is when a lift brakes down and you're stuck on it. The Alpina appears the place to be. Going on the 19th to the Iglika.. Enjoy all.
