Can anyone advise if any piste/lift expansion will be evident this season?

As far as I am aware, nothing new, but some runs have been improved apparently. Have a look on the Borovets page here as it details some changes.

Does the gondola still close for maintainace every other Monday or so?

Even if it does, it's not stopping me coming for January, just want to know what changes may have occurred so I can be prepared.

Any ski demons out there who want to ski at the upper edge? (Not freestyle)

I could do with a ski buddy or two. i'm due to be in and around Borovets for most of January.
