Good morning.Only found this site yesterday, and read loads of great reviews already, we booked to go ski-ing and have booked a ski package & read somewhere that there wasnt much snow this year. Will there be snow & will we be able to ski????
Does anyone think we booked too early (8th)

It's not too early cos on 30th December I booked for Jan 29th 2005!!!375 days to go...

Went to Borovets last year and am off on Sunday with Pete and the gang. Next year will be the third time.I can't ski, but I love it - everyone is really friendly and all good fun.
Where will you be staying in Borovets?

We are staying ar Rila Hotel.I'm really worried that it wont snow

You can't tell from year to year - the main thing in Borovets is that you've got the snow cannons at the bottom of the slope by the Rila Hotel. Even if there isn't a massive amount of snow, at least there will be some made specially.Have you checked out the webcam pictures for early Jan this year - what could you see - was there snow?

I was at the Rila last week, it snowed loads on the very first day, but from then on not very much, however, we did ski all week, but towards the end it was getting a bit icey.The Rila is a good hotel by the way, met loads of great people there, ask for a quiet room though, as it has two bars and a nightclub.
