Borovets Conditions - Dec 30th

After a testing first week, am now finally able to post the daily conditions update...!

The resort is absolutely packed today, with everyone experiencing problems parking!!

There is a slight mist at the bottom however it is currently clearing and it is also nice and clear and sunny at the top.

Unfortunately no new snow, although the temps are getting much colder to enable the cannons to come on later hopefully!

Probably easier to say what is open than what is closed as there are ...

Probably easier to say what is open than what is closed as there are less runs open than closed!

Yastrebets 2 and 3 are still skiing well although busy.

The gondola is open but the run down to join Yastrebets (Harima) is closed due to rocks / snow. All Markudjik runs are closed and the only thing open on that side is the Suhar - the nursery slope at the top.

Rila runs are still currently skiing ok, athough once again quite busy. Sitnyakovo 1 (at the top) is open for the small drag lift, however all other Sitnyakovo runs are closed as is George's run. The runs are expected to get quite slushy in the afternoon but I will keep you posted on that!

Looks good guys. Small hiccups now would be a practice for the 26th JAn and then the next invasion if Feb. so you'll be we'll practiced by the time we arrive. Don't worry about them now what's done is done look to the future it'll all come good. Xx

HI Kas,
Many thanks for the update good or bad, but at least we know. Hope you have a great stress free 2014, however you have to get through the invasion first.
