im going from the 7th to14 flying from birmingham. iv been a few times but never this early. i believe the season only starts on the 20 dec, so keep your fingers crossed for a good downfall of snow over xmas, or we will hav to go right to the top and theres only 4 small slopes up there.

thanks

andy

oh , the night life is ace and very very cheap

I was there tail end of Jan this year, snow was rather thin on the ground (no pun intended) The bottom runs were no more than a hard base layer, The rest of the mountain had seen more snow and didn't suffer from too many rocks protruding.

The guy who has just serviced my board asked if i had been boarding in a gravel pit Confused Then asked if i had been in Bulgaria in Jan by any chance, he had been there the same week and wrecked his board!

But like you I was stressing about snow levels ...

But like you I was stressing about snow levels etc. Dont worry you'll have a great time, the food is good, atmosphere second to none and there WILL be enough snow! (just leave some for me, I am there 3 weeks later)

Cool
p.s. dont Booze all my hot choc and brandy before i get there!

Do you know if the lack of snow is the same with Pampovoro? We were thinking of going at the end of Feb and if it's thin in Jan it will be a wasted hol! Sad

Better snow in Feb I am led to believe!

....and dont say anything but most resorts are getting a light over night dusting at the moment, wont settle for long but its a good omen... shhhhh Wink
