Hi All,Be out on Saturday 17th, are all the snow cannons working everynight to keep the pistes good?
What are the current lift queues like and best time to get the gondola?
Anyone out there this week that can advise would be much appreciated

Be good if someone could provide a very brief update on this!I notice on the Borovets website they haven’t updated which runs are open since the 5th (when all but 2 were open), how are the slopes after yesterdays forecasted rain and warmer temps?
Out on the 17th and cant wait!!!

I go out on Saturday and I have no worries.
Even if there is no more snow next week and it gets a bit slushy due to the temperature rise there will be very good skiing at the top of the gondoler down to mid station.

Temps dropping again and its only at the bottom .... as long as the wind keeps down then you can go up on the Gongola.Last year it was 8 degrees for a few days and it was still ok. Snow due midweek I beleive.

Went up the gondola yesterday and conditions good at the top but a little slushy lower down. The snow cannons are out, yastrebetz 2 and 3 were good but 1 pretty slippy. They've been closing the runs 1 at a time to have the snow cannons on but hasn't been a problem. Someone told me you can still go down the closed ones but they were worried about the snow cannons knocking people over, can't say i've tried it yet myself! The temp has risen a lot the last couple of days but is meant to drop ...

The gondola hasn't been busy at all, been getting up there for about 10 - 10.30 and longest queue has prob been about 15 mins. Hope that helps!

The cam is situated on the Ice Angels Hotel which was built about 4 or 5 years ago I think and this is the other side of the chair lift to the Rila Hotel.Richard.
