Guys,

Following recent updates, in terms of up the mountain, the new snow cannon to keep the gondola / marky runs open is already installed - the others are all being worked on. They have also put in a fence next to the moving carpet to stop the snow from blowing off the top and re-done the fence from marky 2 across to the nursery. They have also put in a new run/ path on Yastrebets 1 to avoid the walk up hill at the bottom of the 4 man chair. All of Yatsrebets runs have been cleaned up and widened and they are still doing more work on the snowboard park.

The black over on the Rila run (top of Rotata) is no longer a black -(according to Bobby and some of the others that were there today) although not sure if they will change this on piste maps etc - it has been widenened and the gradient has been reduced.

All in all, there has been a lot of work done on the mountain and regardless of snow, there will be a lot more guaranteed (due to extra cannons) and better skiing available.

Also, just a quick one as don't want this to take over the board - just to let you know all restaurant stuff is now sorted, in fact Bobby was up the mountain today with the cousin delivering all the logs for the winter season. We will definitely be running the White House (top) and Bobby's Bar (at the bottom), although will only be in the bottom after 3.30pm unless the gondola is shut. If you do go in the bottom / or top and we are not there just mention our names and you will still get your bulgariaski discount. When we get back from England ( we go for 2 weeks in a couple of days) we will ask around for you to confirm who else will offer this discount but we know already that Happy Duck, Mamacita's and Golden Horn will - just mention Bulgariaski or email for a discount voucher.

If you need any more info on ski runs, just shout and we will try and find out.

Hi Mark,

I posted last week (it's a bit far down now) to say they were no longer doing top of gondola to yastrebets as they wanted to concentrate on runs for the beginner to intermediate and in their opinion, advanced / high intermediates have all of the Rila reds and yastrebets runs which are covered with cannons. They weren't going to do cannosn on marky 1 / the loop at the top so they have simply changed their priorities.

The cannons on the top of Sitnyakovo / nursery slope are still supposed to be done before the start of the season.

Rumours of a new lift are still just that - rumours!

We are in Uk on the 3rd - the 5th Nov is Bobby's b'day so we will be with family then but what about the following week - Thursday / Friday - any of those any good?? need to back in Christchurch on the saturday as it's my bro's b'day on the 13th.

Nads - what is Jon's schedule??? And PP - can you meet up with wherever Nads suggest? We don't know that area well? Also, we may just get Fraser and co along!
