Hi to allwhich do you think is the best between these places? in terms of skiing facilities and nightlife, our skiing level is beginners.

Some very good nursery slopes in Borovets not been to Bansko, the night life is top draw in borovets plenty of bars cafes and night clubs no shortage of night life

been to both, borovets many times. . .bansko once. . .would definately say borovets. . .its got it all. . .we trying pamps in january and hoping it lives up to expectations. .. Borovets is a great place to learn how to ski, night life is excellent. . .its just a fun place to be. . .

as a biginner defo Borovets, plenty of easy slopes, what date are you going you should be ok aslong as it's not midish feb (halfterm).s.p.

Bansko for beginners(better groomed very easy runs) but for more absolute beginners.after that- Borovets all the way

HI all, without a doubt Borovets is the better resort. Went there last year, all 20 of us. Sking was very good, nightlife was excellent and all at very reasonable prices. Went to Bansko this year and very very over crowded. The Piste was all mashed up by 11
ohrs and you were skiing through troughs. Nightlife not as good but there were some tremedous restaurants to eat in at very reasonable prices. Off to Borovets again on the 9th Jan for another cheap holiday then Italy with the boys for a ...

Have been to all three with the family,
Pamporova,
Fors, Great for beginners, sunny, friendly.
Against, Have to get bus to slopes, pestered by bell boys, not enough variety for better skiers.
Bansko,
Fors, Greater variety of slopes, Hotel facilities great, lots going on on the slopes.
Against, Gondola a nightmare at half term, no snow around hotel when we went, food/drink places on slopes busy and comparatively expensive.
PS Going the same week as you this year.

Fors, Hotels at foot of slopes, great for popping back to hotel, slopes varied unless your a black runner, great atmosphere.
Against, Most hotels dated, gondola to top slopes shut a lot due to wind.
For us Borovets wins everytime (although I have a soft spot for Pamporova, but family disagree.
