Finding this disscussion very usefull, however first time out in Borovets - 1st two weeks in March and wondering if someone could please give me some tips what to look out for, where to drink, good prices, bulgarian culture and how much snow is there likely to be. Not long to go now - counting down the seconds!re: Borovets and Bulgaria Virgin!
You and me both lolThis site is great for borovet vigins like us but this site does have loads of info on night life and food.
Although I would think with two weeks out there you will be the person to ask after!
I have a good feeling about the snow. There has been more snowfall in pretty much all resorts in europe than for the last 10 odd years!!!!

You will both have a fantastic time out there. There is 49 of us from JJB in Oldham going to Boro for the 2nd year on 5th March.
The night life is good. you will prob start off in Buzz Bar its pretty good we ended up in there nearly every night last year and it does sell very cheap Vodka and Red Bulls. There is lots of Bars to try, a couple of Karoke bars, which are open very late and are normally full. The restraunts are good and cheap just have a look around. there is a nice ...

There is plenty of Bulgarian eateries which sell everthing from traditional Bulgarian food to nice juicy steaks yum yum!!!
I can also reccomend Huge Pizza's which are good around 3am on the way home! Also Chicken kebabs which you can buy in small take aways.
There is a couple of bars that have big screens to watch footie if you are interested.
Judging by last years archive pics there should be plenty of snow. We were there this time last year and it snowed once but from what I hear it snowed constant last week so there should be plenty left in March.

lol DaveThere is women as well as Blokes. Even though we are members of a gym doesn't mean we are the fittest of people like my Steak and
too much mate.Look out for us though I have a Blue hat with 3 huge points on or a bright green/yellow curly scouse wig. with that info you surely cant miss us.

HAHAHANope, there is no chance at all.
The only give away for me mate would be look for the pissed english bloke!!!

Funny you should say that cos i was reading some of the other forums earlier when i came accross one which went a bit like this:"Borovets has all sorts going on in the evenings, there are things to suit all generations. I was there with my family which includes my teenage son!
And I can tell you we had allot of trouble getting him out of the Hotel Rila as they have Pole Dancers!!!!"

The Girls who are coming with us normally end up Pole dancing just have a look in any bar that has a pole there will be one or 15 of our girls dancing!!!The lap dancing bar was a couple of doors up from Buzz Bar pretty good I can tell you mate
