Ian, the chalet is called Allseasons at Bulgaria and is run by a lady called Jan, her prices are very keen and will even pick you up from the Airport for £30 round trip each adult.....her chalet is approx 15 minutes from Borovets centre but she buses you in everyday and pick you up afterwards...have a look at the web site..

Although we liked the resort, we found all the hotels gave the same sort of shabby service when it came to the food, according to all of the people we have spoken to.
Do not agree with the 'Bulgarians like luke warm food' brigade. Come on borogirl who are you kidding.
Folks - the food in the hotels is cold because it is served 'hot plate' style and is usually set out upto 15 minutes before they open the doors! The Iglika did not have hot water under the hot plate (as ou would expect).
It is simply a time issue and has nothing whatsoever to do with how Bulgarians like their food?????
Put it in the microwave and its fine - most of the time.
