Hi everybody. Finally the snow is coming, so I wish a nice season to everybody!
Can you please help me on this: Living in Thessaloniki, it is quite easy to drive to Bulgaria for a weekend. We visited Bansko last March and it was great.
I am interested this season in trying Borovets and Pamporovo too, before making up my mind which of the three fits our needs best.

I am interested this season in trying Borovets and Pamporovo too, before making up my mind which of the three fits our needs best.
Can you please give an advice which of the two is better for "begginers to intermediate"? (the kids manage all blues and some easy reds).
Thank you.
I'll second that!....Pamporovo would be best for you. I learnt to ski there 23 years ago and the ski instructors are the best in the world. I took my son when he was 6, he is now 17 and can ski the pants off anyone! All thanks to the ski instructors there, he knows them all and they all know him!.... Friends for life!
I've not been to Bansko or Borovets so can't really compare however I've skied many places in the Alps and have found Pamporovo one of the most child friendly ski resorts there is. I have 3 children and it was my least stressful holiday. Drop me an e-mail if you want a price for an apartment.
Thank you all, I could use some help with accommodation, when time comes.
Pamporovo then it is, because this was my preference too.
Is it possible that somebody comments about the difficulty level of the 2 Stoykite runs (because they are marked ase blue/red, "how red" are they?).
And could you please explain what is the story with the "Smolyan Lake" run?. It goes around the top and back? Where is it's lift? Is it also a blue/red? Is it wide or more like a tourist road?
Thank you again in ...

Thank you again in advance.
The Stoykite run is a mainly blue and the red sections are quite sort and easy. Probably the steepest bits are right at the beginning and a short bit right at the end. Really wide in places and never really narrow. A must do run that I'm sure you will do many times.
The lakes run is quite narrow and unless you get up speed you could find yourself having to 'walk' some bits. It is an easy blue run although It not been open much in recent years. The 2 man chair lift takes you right back to ...
