A great place to go for lunch or dinner (or just a drink) is the Golden Horn to the left of the slope outside the Rila. The guy who stands outside, I think he's called Franko is brilliant with kids, epecially at night when they get a bit fed up after you've eaten when all you want to do is chill,he gets them on sledges and bum boards outside the bar and they seem to have a great time, I know where we'll be eating when we take our 2 next year.

Hey, we bought the gear on Wednesday and used it fo rthe rest of the week, it was waterproof, windproof and totally serviceable so who cares, dear me, i've been reading your posts on here today, I think you are on the wrong site, your comments are anything but encouraging!! is there not a site for whingers you can visit?????????

thanks for the golden horn tip will head there for definite! Just read that it is going to be up to 16 degrees on thursday - argh! Oh well there are far worse things going on in the world which has made me realise to stop moaning and worrying! Even if the snow goes off the Rila slopes hopefully there will be some snow left at the top of the gondola.....

I will do that, these restaraunts and bars sound fab, thanks for that I will write it down so I don't forget! Sounds like you had a brill time in Borovets and I am sure we are going to love it too! I guess what will be will be with the snow!
