Borovets ski school.

Of to Borovets on the 2/01/05, with family. Been told I cannot book my 6 year old son into ski school as he has to be seven, so he will have to go into ski kindergarton. Since been told that kindergarton is mainly for younger children and does not do a lot of ski teaching. Is this the case and does anybody know if he ski school will accept a six year old.re: Borovets ski school.
if thats the case i would say he seven anyway my kids three years ago went and they had a lesson with the ski school very goog all the kindrgarton do is keep the happy for the so you can get on with the skiing so i would say he seven goood luck and have funre: Borovets ski school.
we took a six year old with us and shw was in ski school, was 6 years ago but went again last year and all instructors still the same, hope this helps.Bev

We've booked thru balkan and their kindergarten is 4 - 7 and ski school is 7 - 11. From wot i saw last year rhey usually put kids of the same ages together so don't worry about him being with loads of little kids.re: Borovets ski school.
by the way kindergarten do ski as well, they don't just look after themre: Borovets ski school.
My son is booked in and he is six. I queried this with the agent. They said he will learn to ski. If not we'll teach him ourselves.re: Borovets ski school.
Once you get there talk to the instructors, they are more than willing to help you. He'll ski.re: Borovets ski school.
Our six year old was in ski school last year, she got on fine. I suspect that if you speak with your rep / instructors they will sort something out for you once you are out there. Billre: Borovets ski school.
Having the same problem with my 7 year old daughter. Thomsons won't sell me a learn to ski pack as they only do 8 - 12 years. Have had lots of advice from this site saying that we will be able to sort it out when we get there and don't go for kindergarten. Thats what I am going to do. By the way we go on 2 Jan staying at the Bor. Also taking my 12 year old son who can't wait. First ski trip for children and first after 13 year break for my wife and I. May bump into you there or at Gatwick 4 ...

If your child is confident then ski school will be fine. I stayed with my 2 last year (youngest was 6) - they had skiied the year before with the Inghams Kindergarten which was excellent and I would highly recommend for the younger children if you are travelling with Inghams.
Another family in our group also had their 6 year old with them and he also skiied with our group.
If they go with the childrens ski school then they need to be able to look after themselves as they need to buy ...

The ski instructors stay with them but have a fairly big group - 12ish - to look after - we have only been at half term. If you have an older child then they could be together if that doesn't cramp the style of the 12 year old.
I personally wouldn't lie about their age as that may invalidate your insurance.
