Hello allWe are an Irish couple heading to Borovets for the first time tomorrow and in typical style of our homeland, look forward to meeting some of you in the bars tomorrow night!
We are flying from Brum at lunchtime and are staying at the Rila - you can't miss us with our accents!!

Hi Laurawe are a group of 12 Irish heads heading to Borovets tomorrow from Dublin.. see you in the Rila or on the slopes... Don't think you will miss us..

From what I understand from the instructors, BG is very popular with the Irish.re: Borovets tomorrow
was in Bansko last year.. no tour operators from Ireland so went through the UK.. lady on the reception had to look up Ireland on the map... didn't meet one other Irish person over there but have heard a lot of people commenting on Borovets in Ireland so am sure that we will meet a few more heads over there... class.. can hardly wait.. flight at this time tomorrow!!!re: Borovets tomorrow

Fin.Would be interrested to know when you got back what your impression was of Boro in comparison to Bansko. We've been to Pamporova a few times now, but thinking about trying Bansco next year. Although Boro is larger, I don't think it is too dis-similar to Pamps.

Go to the local resturant below Samokov the guy behind the bar (bobby) spent loads of time in Ireland. He is a ski instructor in the Samokov hotel ( good crack ).see you on the plane tomorrow.
