Been to Pamps for the last 5 years, thinking of going to Borovets any sugestions what hotel? There is 16 of us with children fron the age of 10. Thanks in advance.
if the kids are like mine and not keen on walking far in boots then id say the rila or samokov..they are big hotels close to the lifts and with stuff going on for the kids as well...ive stayed in the iglika, flora and ela in the past as well as the rila and samokov...they are all nice enough hotels.
I stayed at the Flora Apartments last year and have booked to stay there again this year and will do every year from now on, its only a 2 minute walk from the Gondola and its reasonably new so all is clean and tidy. The apartments have kitchens too so it's easy to cater for yourself if you go self-catering.
Downsides: The only downside as far as I am concerned is the sleeping arrangements, each apartment has one bedroom consisting of a double bed and then two people share a double pull ...

Thanks everyone, basically balkan have changed our flight to sofia rather than plodiv, not happy but our travel agent is trying to get us into Boro trouble is there is 16 of us. Only 5 weeks to go and its put a bit of a downer on the holiday
Just got back from the Flora Hotel. Accomodation was great, food awful. However good restaurants and bars in town. Try Mamacita's, say Hello to Kris and August and Chilli Peppers, say Hello to Katie.
Balkan Holidays are awful, but Borovets was great fun.
