re: Borovets

Usually the snow comes at Xmas, especially to the lower beginner slopes, so take a good book. No professional skiers have ever been to Borovets.

re: Borovets

You should be able to put your skis on, yes. Whether you will be able to do any skiing is anyone's guess, but probably. The two resorts are run by different people so you need different passes. They are also a fair distance apart.
