Hi all,

People have been asking if we can do day trips from Boro to Bansko as we run the opposite trip from here in Bansko in the winter.
Well having spoken to Stefan today looks like we will be able to do this. If anyone is interested and we have enough feedback we will look at booking 1day a week whereby you get transport, full english on arrival and evening meal if required. Also Steve C and me would be here to guide you around the mountain if required. You then leave back for Boro around 7pm in time for the nights drinking.

Kas and Bobby have offered to put up posters etc in their restaurant and bar giving info and contact details.

Please let us have your thoughts etc on this and we will then decide whether to go ahead and give it a go.

It may be helpfull if a day in the week was decided on then posters on here could start and organise groups by talking to each other. We wil be out on the 28th Jan so i know me and SP will give it a go. By saying it will happen on a set day each week perhaps in the middle of the week you will find people will be organised before they get to Boro by saying on this board if they would like to go.
SP Just got back from working away so will contact you as I see Paulo and Manc Tom will be out same time as us.

Yep - as agreed, no worries at all. I also agree with D'but (for a change!!). Even if people don't book in advance, if they come Bobby's bar on the saturday / sunday, they will see the poster and then can book it there and then for a set day that week. If they just see 'trips can be arranged', you will get everyone wanting to do it on different days. When we did the lock-in's last year, we chose a set day - normally a Tuesday and it worked much better.

Also, as not everyone will have Iphones, blackberry etc then telephone numbers etc would be better. Also, if they are paying Stef direct this would be ideal because as Bobby works for him, he can just walk them over to the office to pay.

Anyway, we'll just do what you need us to from this end!

It would be a set day that was always going to be the case so as i can make sure Steve and me are not on the road to sofia and to get our drivers to cover our work. I was thinking Wednesday, middle of the week mainly as people come in sat-sat and it will give them 2 full days good skiing in Boro. That or a thursday but weds I think is better.
Stefan will do same price as ours. Now, including in ours we will stay with people and guide them around the mountain in Borovets especially if people have not been before but i will need to confirm with stefan.I would also recommend that you are an intermediate skier not beginner.

Let me know if the day is looking good for a wednesday and i will get some posters sorted for Kas and Bobby and also more info for you guys.

Late Feb early March we may be in Boro for the winter Dual bike race. Not sure of dates yet but hopefully entering for a laugh.
