Hi!!!I've been to Borovets for the pass three years but fancy a change this year and might try Bansko! What is the nightlife like there compared to Boro? Is the snow normally as good?

you will fore go night life for slightly better snow/pistes... be aware que s at gondola very bad in morning rush hour

night life is no were near as good in bansko.The bars are few and far between and less lively.
Did find a few busy bars but very spread out bansko is a quite a large town were as borovets has everything in one street.

Thanks for your replies!Morning rush wont be problem as im an late morning/early afternoon border but looks like its Borovets again if its a quiet resort!

Its still give it a try dont let me put you off, the slopes were good and i enjoyed the change but il be glad to get back to borovets. Each to there own.

I know what you mean, do wanna try somewhere different but very lively nightlife is a must so probably Borovets againre: Borvets v Bansko
We tried Bansko last year after 4 years at boverets, thesking is better but night life is not great. You have to get the gondola to ski. Our hotel in Bansko was 5 mins from slopes but there was no snow
by hotel going back to Rila at Boverets this year!

Yeah im defo gonna stick with Borovets again this year, really enjoyed the nightlife! Might end up in the Rila too as not stayed their before!re: Borvets v Bansko
Where have you stayed Kevin, from my experience the rila is better then the samakov but the iglik is my first choice nice and small and personal.re: Borvets v Bansko
I've stayed in the Samokov twice and the flora, both were okay but it depends what I deal I can get.Is Balkan Holidays usually the cheapest?
