try the Mastika, similar to greek Ouzo
or their local brew of Rakia. be warned very potent. Balkan use it as fuel for their planes.

Atlantic rum u can get at the shop at Plovdiv airport...along with a much wider selection of local spirits! It's located in the common area, next to the arrival gates.
