I received the option about two weeks ago,. I was asked three questions:

Would I be willing to pay existing balance
When would I have the money by
Would I like to visit the site

All of which I gave a positive answer to, however I need some convincing as to the legallity of it all and whether we need revised contracts. Brittinia are clearly in breach of the existing contract as confirmed by my solicitor but its likeley to cost around 5K to take them to court!

I shall just wait for their reply and make my decision then.

It would be good to know who else is involved.

Hello Chris Woolf

Nice to see a large response at last, on this FORUM, we have also bought in Woodlands Springs approx. 2007, and just come to the final balance to payment 2008(at the moment my son and myself have handed over £30,000),but this all went pear shaped, look at our posting (Gaynor and Chris Cooper, if you look at the Woodlands Springs Forum, there is information. We too in the last couple of weeks have had the same letter, regarding Woodlands Springs as yourselves, and you are completely right to be very very wary, and they are in breach of the contract that we have been issued with, and we have not had also any Deeds that they promised us from Mr Nigel Hole, which we had signed with Cardiff Solicitors and sent to Bansko to Marja Solicitors.

We have not received a response from the e.mail sent in the last week or so to Zarka in Bansko. The letter we had in the last 2 weeks wasnt on any headed paper, not signed, not dated. What is going on I say, but they are still registered I think with Companies House in Cardiff, and Mr Nigel Hole still lives in Swansea.

Did you see the Programme on the Welsh News a couple of months ago on Britannia Properties, and they actually went to his home, but he was not available for comment.

Keep in touch and night for now.

re: Britania Properties

Whilst I want my place in Bulgaria I am not convinced that I would get it or an alternative, based on the way I and other have been messed about over the last couple of years.

Not sure if I want write off another £25k so I might just cut my losses!

re: Britania Properties

i think you should consult a solicitor as I am not sure how valid contracts are in bulgaria. Our complex was finished a year late and the contract said we should recieve compensation. No chance !!!! but at least we did not really lose anything,we did get it eventually

Hi Gaynor.Regarding your deeds the notary would have issued your copy to who you gave power of attorney at time of purchase,I signed in person at the notarys office in Razlog,My Solicitor sent me a copy direct several months after completion translated to english,My solicitor was Stanislav .at Mitov law office,Maybe worth asking your solicitor as Britannia should not have possession of them,Regards Paul Wink Wink

Hi Firefighter

Thanks for response, but I did my notary deeds locally in Cardiff, and they were sent to Britannia in Swansea, to Mr Nigel Hole, where he was going to take them to Bulgaria to Marja, Solicitors in Sophia to sort out. We have not received any information since March 2008. We did not receive any paperwork back.

Thanks very much and I will just give the Solicitor an e.mail to check, but I think at the mo. it is not going to get me anywhere.

Night for now.

re: Britania Properties

Hi all,

we invested and have been asked to stump up another 33k Euros for a 1 bed when we originally bought a studio. We were told that no studios available. Has anyone else had a similar experience? We feel we're between a rock and a hard place and dont know whether to invest to try to get something, or just cut our losses.
