Bulgaria Ski - passes

Hi everyone

I note the Bulgaria Ski can arrange lift passes, lessons etc Smile

Anyone know if it's cheaper than buying at resort?

Thanks all

re: Bulgaria Ski - passes

how much are they charging, Bansko lift pass is about £100 in resort and ski hire about 50 Euros you can pay lift pass on credit card. dont know sbout lesons but if you put bansko ski school in search engine you get the website for ulen ski school and prices for lesons are on there. if you let us know what resort you may get a better reponse as each one charges diffently

Thanks for the reply Sam.

The resort is sunny Pamporovo. I don't know how much BSki charge but in resort you're looking at around £110 a week for lift pass (If I remember correctly).

I think you will find it is much cheaper to buy the ski package before you go and not in the resort we've gone with balkan and paid £107 for lift pass, ski and boot hire and lessons for the week .

Hi Simon

I don't go with Packages as I like my independence however you are right; you do get better lift pass lessons prices through tour operators. One of the benefits I suppose.

Has anyone used Bulgaria Ski for lessons, lift passes etc

re: Bulgaria Ski - passes

I've used Bulgaria Ski for the last 3 years in Pamps and each time they have been great and well organised. The proces have always been cheaper buying upfront rather than in the resort. The reps will meet you on the Sunday morning at the ski depot and have all the passes etc ready for you. The only trouble you will have is getting past all the Bell sellers. Just tell them "later".

the bell sellers have real good memories though and will keep on at, you we bought on about third day weather was realy bad and felt sorry for them also had images of them being at the airport saying you promised. They are harmless and always try to be helpful plus they remeber whos in your group and will let you know if they are in the pub or got the bus home.

re: Bulgaria Ski - passes

Lift passes are set to rise by 20% in all resorts this season. Buy in the UK if possible when booking your trip.

If you are travelling independantly and are intending buying on arrival, don't expect to pay last years prices, as they will be on average £25 dearer.

re: Bulgaria Ski - passes

Does anybody know where to buy just the lift pass whilst I am still in the UK? I want it for the week commencing 17th Feb 2007 for 6 days skiing - any idea of costs??

Many thanks
