Bulgaria in march on my own

Hi all, im going to either Borovets or Pamporovo March 15th for a week. I'm fairly new to the sport, but have picked it up quite quickly and can hold my own.
Just wondering what the deal was, is going on my own not recommended.
Or should I just go for it?

Just do it. You wont be on your own. Just say hi to someone and ask if you can join their group.

Michael I went on my own in 98 funnily enough March 14th and Pamporovo. I was a beginner then and that was one of the best holidays ever. I know it seems a bit strange going on your own but trust me mate just do it.

re: Bulgaria in march on my own

ive been on my own to borovets in the past and had a fantastic time. i met up with a crowd of guys on the plane and told them lots of things about the place cos it was thier firat time out there, they ended up in 2 rooms opp me in the hotel so i spent alot of time out with them both skiing and drinking. So the answer is yes you can go on your own i did and would do again.

re: Bulgaria in march on my own

I just got back from Borovets on my own, stayed in the Breza with Crystal which was very geared up for single people, most hotels have only 1 x single room but the breza had at least four... the bar at night is small and cosy so very hard not to get talking to someone in fact impossible Very Happy if you do go arrange to go on the bar crawl with the travel company its a good way to meet more people... I have done it loads on my own and never needed to regret it, done it in Pamps and Bansko but ...

hmmm quite lucky as the Breza is what i was looking at.
I think im gonna go for it, have a laugh and hopefully not break too many bones.
Cheers for all the help really appreciate it, on a last not.
Snow schools i was thinking of attending one for 3 days as i think it would be wise.
Anyone no of any good ones in Borovets?
