Bulgaria Ski discussion board

My girlfriend and I are nearly 100% certain to visit Bulgaria (leaving the UK on March 6th). It will be her first time skiing, my second, and from what I have read on here and seen on other websites Bulgaria Ski Resorts sound really amazing.

The snow looks good, the runs ample enough and the night life compelling. We are looking to get that extra culture into our stay so we are looking at the revamped Bansko. Best of all though skiing in Bulgaria is really affordable and the food and drink really great value

All the hotels in this resort look good, but we are particularly keen on Hotel Bansko - although this is almost sold out.

One thing what really pleases me is reading the messages on this board is the terrific nature of our fellow Brits who visit the ski resorts of Bulgaria. It seems there is a really great atmosphere in the bars, ski schools and ski runs.

And that is all credit to you guys.

This year could be our first time to ski in Bulgaria, but I am sure it will not be the last

Must admit like the summer sun of the Domincian Republic too much to think of elsewhere for a summer holiday.

Pete I know me and my girlfriend will give a lot to the skiing and really enjoy it. We like to party as well and chat with new people.

We are looking to book this Saturday and it sounds like it will be the best money spent for a long time, beating the great deal we got last summer.

I know when I went skiing for the first time, how special the feeling was to be on the slopes enjoying the sun, snow and the fun of the sport. I have tried to tell my girlfriend that no matter what, words cannot express fully the thrill of skiing - until you actually do it.
