I too feel unappreciated on this site.
Like many others I always try to give good advice and assistance to those in need.
I spend many hours researching the subjects to help others get the best skiing experience possible.
I do not come here to mess around or to have a laugh and a joke like the abusers who sometimes visit the forum.
My messages are always thoroughly researched and considered. I even took a whole day off work to help f3z resolve the Kettle problem, and would not ...

Whist I am often frustrated by the lack of support from the site owners, I have no intention of walking away from this site now, or anytime in the foreseeable future. I have been using this site since 1996 and been a moderator on here for over 10 years. During that time I have made dozens of friends and many I have had the pleasure of meeting. In 14 years and over 20,000 posts (including the old site) I'm bound to upset one or two along the way and I can live with that.

Whist I am often frustrated by the lack of support from the site owners, I have no intention of walking away from this site now, or anytime in the foreseeable future. I have been using this site since 1996 and been a moderator on here for over 10 years. During that time I have made dozens of friends and many I have had the pleasure of meeting. In 14 years and over 20,000 posts (including the old site) I'm bound to upset one or two along the way and I can live with that.
I have no problems with any other site be it new, old, or whatever as it's a free world and provided no laws are broken there is nothing anyone can do to prevent new websites being launched on a daily basis.
It's the posters that make or break a site - not the owners, and we have been fortunate in the past to have some really nice people frequent the site. My frustration is multiplied only by the lack of co-operation from the site owners in failing to upgrade the site security and allow the moderators to have better control over the trolls.
I have no problems with any other site be it new, old, or whatever as it's a free world and provided no laws are broken there is nothing anyone can do to prevent new websites being launched on a daily basis.
