Thanks everyone, I went to the Post Office first (no joy) then to Travelcare who told me it was fine and they just needed a few days notice, but then they had an e-mail later on today to say that they had been stopped now and sorry. Never mind, will get some at the airport I think!!

i dont think you are allowed to take levs in or out of bulgaria, there a bit strange about it

Well i hope you can take them in matt, cos i am doing tomorrow. I had no problems getting through lun poly, but it was b4 xmas. i will let everyone know if there is a problem on my return. As far as i can gather there was a problem untill recently, relitivly that is but now there is no problem with money movement in and out of the country. Lun poly die if taking them ins a problem thats for sure. as for up to date current information try the foreign office, or the bulgarian consulate in ...
