Every year I've been skiing on the mountain they have the price for the dark beer but never have any.
I have asked a number of times and they never order it as apparently they believe locals don't like it they think light beer only.
So I get some dark in the Tschutschuliga some years ago, but noit sure if they will open this winter.
In the bulgarian rose they had draught Stolichno and some times in the Elit Snackbar I get some bottled dark beer. In Samokov nearly every restaurant had bottled Kamentiza.
Dark beer normally is drunk in the summer by the locals, but is becoming more popular because of the tourists in the winter. Zagorka have just released a new dark beer, `2011 Premium', looks really dark, almost Guiness like, gotta try that one...
Sorry Steve, but had seen dark beer in the summer for a really long time. The last 7 or 8 years the bulgarian breweries brewed just in the autumn and winter months. Olny Stolichno is brewed allover the year.
I'm quit interessted for the dark Zagorka...
Just 26 days to wait...
First now don't buy Zagorka dark...
it's the mistake of my life.
They playing wine with beer, bullsh..... taste of forestfruits with different malt, not to drink.
You can drink Ariana, Almus, Ledinka, Astika, or Kamenitza or Schumensko but don't waste your money for Zagorka dark, drink the light one and anything is great
The Zagorka dark beer is made with wine added and is quite sweet tasting, The kaminitza in my opinion is a muck nicer drink a bit like a dark mild you can get both in a lot of the bars but it is always in the cooler at Bobbys bar
Not really as a belgium fruit beer, they work with forrest fruits flavour and karamell. Not really a beer, so it is called winter brew. Great stuff astika dark and we was in north- western Bulgaria you can get Almus beer from city of Lom, not so bad.
My winners Kamenitza, second Schumensko, doesn't tried this year Ledenika...
