re: Bulgariaski ski hire..

depends where they are from, as above they have an office in the mont blanc appartments, if you get no joy of where to pick them up, you could go there and ask.

If you hire your gear from the shop inside the gondola station, you get a massive discount on your lift pass. The quality is much of a muchness really. We bought our own skis down in the town last year and compared to the rental skis were night and day! If you go late in the season, you can grab yourself a great bargain.

Happy End Bar opposite the gondola station is great for beers after 7 hours on the slopes!

The Friendly Bar is fab for food, drinks and live entertainment. Directions - from the Gondola, turn right heading towards the traffic lights. Turn right and the bar can be found 100 yards on your right, behind the pizza kiosk bloke. If you wanna grab a quick bite to eat, the pizza kiosk is great and only a few LEV.

And to top it all...treat yourself to a treatment at the Kempinski Hotel Spa. I can recommend the hot stone therapy to relax those tired muscles! Enjoy Very Happy

re: Bulgariaski ski hire..

Thanks Suz, and everyone else too,

Hiring from this site is proving very difficult, have emailed twice and then rang, but only got an answer phone, left my number for them to ring back 2 days ago but i've heard nothing Confused

Think we'll go with the gondola station hire shop, (only concern is getting in there on the first day, will it be a bit of a scrum? and could they run out of hire gear?) though a discount on the lift passes sounds good to me Very Happy

re: Bulgariaski ski hire..

you may not be able to get them from the gondla station, when we were there a couple of years ago, they told us they were booked for package deals. There are loads of hire shops around, best one is by the happy end bar good quality, get there early and take some kind of photographic ID, (passport or driving license) the hire shop asked for it when we were there two years ago. I would take it just in case dont want to get sorted them have to go all the way back to hotel for ID.
