Buying skis in Pamporovo

As the title, I am looking to buy some skis whilst in Pamporovo and am looking for advice on where to buy. We will have transport so Smoylan and Chepelare are options.Any advice/experience?

The cheapest place is at the Salomon Outlet shop in Chepalare. You can can a taxi from central Pamporovo to the Shop and the price should be 20 Lev dont accept any higher. The people in the shop speak good enough English and you will get yourself a cracking deal. No point in going to Smolyan. Hope this helps.
When are you out in Pamporovo?
I arrive on Mon Evening and am there until Feb 9 and back Feb 20 - Easter, so if I can help let me know.

Thanks Jody, I suspected that would be the case, we have been there once before a few years ago in the summer but not a lot of choice or interest.
We also arrive in Pamporovo on Friday 20 Feb and leave on Sunday 1March. As I said, we will have a car so transport is not a problem.

Thanks for the hint, I bought my skis in UK before going out there and got a good deal, but from all I have heard, you get even better deals in Bulgaria. I am not in a hurry to buy these for my wife as she is content with her current 13 year old skis, but I do need to start investigating options.

I always thought the same Steve. I bought the wife some last year in Borovets for that reason but I don't think they could touch the deal I just got. Ok they are last years model but Im no Bode Millar so wont be able to tell the difference in 1 years technological advances.

I always thought the same Steve. I bought the wife some last year in Borovets for that reason but I don't think they could touch the deal I just got. Ok they are last years model but Im no Bode Millar so wont be able to tell the difference in 1 years technological advances.

Jody,You appear to be somewhat of a resident with the times you spend out in Pamporovo.
If you are in the know, do you know of a good heating engineer/plumber/builder that could install "wet" underfloor heating in our apartment in Pamporovo?

I do vet all the tradesmen who have done work for me and the residents at Pamporovo Palace.
I am the Chairmen of our owners association sat our Complex Pamporovo Palace.
I have to source the best available workers for the best price for our owners.
