Hello everyone - going to be coming to Pamporovo 1 Feb and not sure what kind of cash to bring - euro's, pounds or the bulgarian currency - been told most places don't accept credit cards - thanks for the info :-)

Hi Vickie, as lots of past threads will tell you, the favoured currency is Sterling, you can buy some before you go, but you will be able to change some as soon as you arrive in resort at your hotel reception.

I am in Pamps at the same time, where are you staying, and is ther a crowd of you?

When I went to pamps in 2000, it was the first time in 13 years, not a problem.

I was wrapped around trees during the peak of my skiing, so I expect nothing will have changed!!!

At least I'm good entertainment value for anyone in my company!

I think we are probably going to be on the same flight - going with 2 other ladies and staying at the same hotel as you. Really looking forward to it! Haven't been skiing since I was 11 and have wanted to go back ever since, but you know how it is, things come up. Should be a blast. I've only heard great things about this resort.
