Hi, I have heard from some people that the chair lifts in Borovets are really hard to get off of, is this true? If it is, any tips on how to make it easier? Flying out on Saturday and Can't Wait!
John
ooogh, any post starting with "I have heard" is never good news..
so don't worry John..just prepare yourself when your ski's touch the snow and get up after the red, blue, other color line. Easy!
*note: I once did fall off when I missed it and felt down 3 meters..still alive here
Hi John
If you can manage to get up from a normal chair 100% you will OK with the ones in Borovets or in any other ski resorts here there and everywhere
The 2 new lifts are slow to get off the old one infront off the Rilahotel is a fast one to get in and get out!! Tip: talk with the others on the chair about your direction when get off!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can be particularly tricky for snowboarders, its not elegant in most cases!! Just keep your head low and let the momentum take you. If you fall over, just push yourself out of the way and you'll be fine. Enjoy!!!
the one infront of rila skelps the back of your legs with a bit of force--so just make sure your infront of the guy beside you so he/she takes the hit. ignore the markers and go a foot infront of where they are
