Levi to the £
Marks & Sparks : 2.192
Barclays : 2.11
Post Office : 2.14
Money Shop : 2.235 ******* Todays Rate ********
Wanted to get £1000 but they did not have it in stock. So whent to Thompsons or Thomas Cook (cant remember which) said they would match the money shop and am picking up tomorrow.
This was in Dartford today. I have yet to check if they have a buy back rate am ...

I always use website travelmoneymax.co.uk ....... it calculates best rates including all charges etc. They currently have 2.275 today and then do exactly what you've done go in to Thomson and get them to match it so I don't have to do internet ordering or pay delivery

Always take Stirling and change in resort as I need it. That way you normally better the UK rate and dont have to worry about buy back rates. Clean £20 notesdbut

Hello, I just returned from Borovets on the 21st Jan...i think you are better off to change your money when there as you will get better rates...i changed my money at Samokov Hotel bank situated next to the hotels ski depot... i got 2.29 and commission free. I had changed some money whilst in the uk at thomsons and after negotiation i got 2.20 only.. hope that helps and enjoy your holiday...am still gutted am back

im out on the 4th...pickin up lev tomoz at tui and got a rate of 2.25....

The difference from 2.20 and 2.29 is so very very little it is hardly measurable.
